Sims 3 Why Is My Roof On The Wrong Floor

Its a pain has no design sense at all and generally just looks lousy.

Sims 3 why is my roof on the wrong floor. It says you can choose auto roof but when i do that i only get the very front of the roof or the very back of the roof and not the rest. Emp0le0n 10 years ago. Yeah just turn off autoroof. Today after i placed a ladder then deleted it a hole in my floor appeared and i cannot place a floor tile over it.

Basically when you go up one floor and try to build a room wall roof anything really the cursor wants to build on the first floor instead of where you actually want to build. I am currently building editing my sims high rise. Placing a collumn under it using constrainfloorelev. As you can see over the open reception area the roof is coming through.

Using the select tool click on the roof of the house in an area that was already there and you should get a room box appear on top. I don t have any coielings but i have already tried replacing them and the two roofs either side above the bay windows don t go through either even though those rooms don t have a ceiling. It is not the same issue you mentioned about the roof poking through a wall it s new for me at least issue. See the menu in the bottom left.
